Intensive Motion Workshop #4

 

Day 1:

– discover the mobility of your spine (inspired by Steve Paxton)

– somatic warm-up on the floor finishing with some sequences on the floor

– floor improvisation about the flexibility of all the joints and the balance between letting go and getting energy

– discover the mobility of your shoulder blades with a partner in order to connect your arms to your center

– Falling exercices in the space. Discover the energical potential of the falling.

-Arm manipulation with some principles of Aikido (Ikkyo)

Day 2:

– somatic warm-up on the floor finishing with some sequences on the floor

– rolling on the floor with a partner. two bodies becoming one through high awareness.

– work on the space between people. How to connect without contact. Principles of imaginery stick, rope or elastic. Improvisation with music.

-long improvisation with different tasks (stop, walk, follow, triangle, impulses, external force, together floor, weight)
